I really do want to blog consistently. But, life seems to get in the way!
Today, all 3 kids and 3 dogs were up by 6:10am. I was already out of bed and Seth, of course, was up and reading in the living room. The big kids went straight outside since it wasn't raining!!! I made a hot drink and never got to taste it. Seems that is how days go. Then I had a bit of a breakdown during breakfast. I'm pretty sure that is my first non-pregnant one so that is something to be thankful for. My husband did all he could to comfort me and he is the best! He even made some decaf coffee for me before he left for work. I'm enjoying it now.
Thankful for
--sunshine
--Irish Cream coffee
--kids resting (John was back down for a nap by 8am)
--kids learning to build and play without help
Well that's the problem---you need some coffee with caffine in it :)
ReplyDeleteIn all seriousness, that sounds overwhelming! My girls are usually up between 6:30 and 7, but they let me ease into the day. Since they're still nursing, after they nurse, they play quietly for about 45 minutes, which allows me to get my coffee, chill (and wake up a bit) before I need to feed them/read to them/change them.
I bet it would be challenging, too, to carve out time to blog when you have three different children on three different schedules. At least my girls still nap at the same time, so I'm guaranteed a break.
I will pray that you have a restful weekend, Leslie.
